Audition for On-camera Narrator – Non-union
Age range:  27-55
Gender:  Male
Character: Franciscan Friar (you will be wardrobed)
Skill Requirement: Teleprompter Proficient
Languages:  Fluent in English & Spanish. The copy will be in Spanish.
Appearance: Latin/Hispanic Ethnicity
Limitations: You will be standing and appear full body in wardrobe during the shoot. No glasses permitted for reading the teleprompter, though you may wear contacts as needed.
Audition location: NE Washington (If selected to audition, directions will be provided)
Date: Thursday, July 24
Time: By appointment only beginning at 1:00 PM
Shoot Date: TBD; however it will be a weekday with a probable noon call time.
Shoot Location: TBD Balto-Wash Metro area.
Pay for the shoot: $200

A few general policies about submitting for an actorsco audition:

1) Working Actor alums should submit for any role which seems appropriate. We won't be asking you to submit. We'll expect that you will make the effort to stay in touch and apply when you're interested and available. We appreciate our students, but we also appreciate initiative. Do not assume and do not miss an opportunity.

2) When we ask for a small image file attached to the email, we want a small image file attached to the email. Many of you would not want to see your headshots magnified to the size they are on a computer screen when submitting a file larger than 100 Kb. We don't need to see your pores and some of you have spent too much time in the sun. Some files are so large they aren't even opened and thus aren't considered. Don't submit a large file and apologize for not following instructions. We live in a computerized world, get those skills up-to-date and learn how to resize your images to facilitate fast transmission and easy viewing. We don't have time to follow links around. We also want to see if you can take direction. Good actors take direction. Make this process as easy as possible for anyone requesting you to adhere to submission guidelines. A small file in an email window will work best for us and thus for you. If other agencies want it differently, you follow their directions when submitting to them. To submit to us, these are our guidelines and our expectations.

3) We only need to see one current picture. One. We know what we're doing. If the photo you send doesn't work, we'll ask for another.

4) Your resume should be attached as a Word document. If you don't have Microsoft Word (I'm not selling the software) copy and paste it into the body of the email.

5) If we are looking for a specific talent or ability and ask you to cite it. Cite it.

6) Don't submit for a role not requested. We're not keeping files. We'll post another notice. If you feel that you're appropriate, submit at that time.

7) If we offer you a role, we'll expect an acceptance email (not phone call) from you a.s.a.p. I know that's vague, but it will depend upon how close we are to the shooting date. If you haven't responded by the next day, we'll offer the role to someone else.

8) We will predominantly communicate via email so that we both have a written record of our correspondences. This will minimize communication errors.

9) Please include an email address that reaches you directly. We won't respond through a service. You deal with us--we deal with you.

10) We're not going to be able to respond to every email. But we thank you for your submission. Every face tells a different story. Don't think because we didn't cast you that we don't recognize your talent and ability. It's just on that day, we're telling a different story. Keep submitting when role appropriate. Hopefully, one day soon, we'll be telling your story.

Despite all that you've just read, we actually have a very enjoyable set. We're just looking for a level of profesionalism that will make our day expedient and rewarding. We care about our product and the goodwill we offer our clients. We look forward to sharing that experience with you. Until we meet, break a leg!
